Winter
– Plant Hardening and Protection
– Root Development
– Moss Control
Your lawn should be heading into this period in as strong a condition as possible.
Grass is dormant and weak, trying to preserve its energy until spring. Moss will take advantage of this and continue to spread through the turf.
An application Iron is applied to halt the moss, the iron also helps harden the grass plant at this vulnerable time ensuring it heads into spring in the healthiest possible condition.
Spring
– Pre Season Starter Treatments
Late March and Early April, your lawn is just starting to test the water and see if it’s time to start growing yet.
April is the time to apply a spring starter feed to kick-start the growth ahead of the main growing season
Late April early May is the time to get a weed treatment down. One application should see season long control of most broad leaved weeds.

Summer
– Controlled Release Feeds

June/July is around the time we should be looking at our second feed application of season. A slow release granular formula can be tailored to suite your site. Any new weeds that have appeared will be spot treated.
Autumn
– Plant Nutrition

Late summer early autumn is a really busy time to keep your lawn in tip top condition. The plant is growing rapidly, so the right feeding regime is imperative.
October time we may apply iron and to start to harden the plant up, in time for winter and all the stresses that come with it.
